I am an economic development researcher; producing research related to institutions, conflict, history of economic thought, and economic education.
Award-Winning Instructor
I teach economic development, comparative economic systems, principles of micro and macro, and survey of economics. While teaching these classes I have been nominated for UNCW's Lecturer of the Year Award three times, won FSU's Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award as one of the top six graduate student teachers at Florida State University, the Charles E. Rockwood Award as the best graduate student teacher in FSU's Economics Department, and was a runner-up for the Office of Distance Learning Excellence in Online Teaching Award for best Online Instructor.
